About Emergency Plumbers of London
Emergency Plumbers of London sends engineers out to plumbing and heating problems that will not wait: a boiler that has stopped, a pipe that has split, water coming through a ceiling, a cylinder that has gone cold. We work around the clock across London and everywhere inside the M25, for a £60 call-out at any hour.
What we fix
Most calls fall into four groups.
- Boiler and heating breakdowns: no heat, pressure that keeps dropping, a boiler leaking from underneath, fault codes and lockouts, radiators that stay cold.
- Leaks and burst pipes: split pipes, leaking joints and valves, water through a ceiling, radiator valves weeping onto the floor.
- Hot water problems: no hot water from a combi, a failed immersion heater, a leaking or noisy cylinder.
- General plumbing emergencies: a toilet or tap that will not stop running, no water or very low pressure, a stopcock that will not turn.
How a call-out works
You tell us what is happening and where, through the contact form. We get back to you to arrange the visit and, if water is still running, explain how to shut it off while the engineer is on the way.
On arrival they find the cause, explain it and give you a price for the repair. The repair price is agreed with you on site before any work starts. Nothing is added afterwards. If you would rather not go ahead, you pay the call-out and nothing more. The full breakdown is on our pricing page.
Gas work
Gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers. Anything that involves the gas supply, the burner, the gas valve or the flue is gas work, and that includes most boiler repairs beyond topping up pressure or pressing reset.
You are entitled to check the engineer before they start. Our Gas Safe boiler repairs page explains how to read the ID card and search the public register, and what to do if you smell gas.
Where and when
We cover every London borough and the towns inside the M25, at any hour of any day, including bank holidays. The areas we cover page sets out the coverage and the plumbing problems that tend to come up in each part of London.
What you will not find on this site
No star ratings we wrote ourselves, no promise that someone arrives within a set number of minutes, no hidden surcharge for nights or weekends. Traffic and the time of night decide how quickly an engineer can reach you, and we would rather say so than print a number we cannot keep.
